I’m so excited to be writing a song for the 2022 MuseMatch concert this March at The Greenroom 42!

Created by Bill Coyne and music directed by Nathan Dame, MuseMatch is a concert of new songs born from a series of “blind dates” between composers and performers. I’ve been tasked with writing a song for Kevin Murphy, who I’ve loved getting to know! A bit about Kevin:

As an actor, Kevin was an original company member of the First National Tour of the Tony Award winning musical, The Book of Mormon.  Other credits include the Off-Broadway production of The Awesome 80’s Prom, in addition to With Glee, and The Happy Embalmer at NYMF.  Kevin is the creator/star of Craig Stevens Guide to Making it On Broadway and the Bistro Award winning concert series, If It Only Even Runs a Minute, which have both played to sold out houses around NYC.

I’m so excited to see him breathe life into a song created based on our conversations! Many thanks to the MuseMatch team for the opportunity to have a hand in such a unique collaboration experience. It’s been an absolute pleasure so far, and I can’t wait to hear the other songs which are sprung from this beautiful process!
