Photos from THE BAND’S VISIT New Work Cabaret!

I was BESIDE MYSELF to hear songs from Painting Faye Salvez and Noise performed by actors and musicians from the national touring production of The Band’s Visit, as well as singers from the St. Louis area. An enormous thank you to Under The Arch Incubator, Stray Dog Theatre, and these incredible performers. My heart belongs to you, Jennifer Apple and William Humphrey!

A Visit with THE BAND’S VISIT?!

I’m stoked to announce that two of my songs will be featured in a cabaret performed by the national tour of The Band’s Visit at their stop in St. Louis! “Repair” from Painting Faye Salvez and “Focus On Your Hands” from my new project will join a lineup of new work by contemporary musical theatre composers around the country, including Anna Jacobs and Michael R. Jackson. Read about the event on Broadwayworld here!

The cabaret is commissioned by Under The Arch Incubator, a new, St. Louis-based theater company which focuses on the development of new work. Here’s a look inside their 2019 cabaret, performed by the national tour of Wicked!

Catch me spending a total of fourteen hours on six trains to get from Chicago to St. Louis and back 🙂

Painting Faye Salvez joins Tuacahn Theatre’s 2018 New Works Festival!

We were so grateful to team up with the wickedly talented actors of Tuacahn Theatre to take part in their 2018 New Works Festival! I learned so much about the piece by watching these actors breathe new life into it, guided by director Jeffry Denman and music director Chris Babbage. Thank you, Tuacahn Theatre!!!
