I’m stoked to announce that two of my songs will be featured in a cabaret performed by the national tour of The Band’s Visit at their stop in St. Louis! “Repair” from Painting Faye Salvez and “Focus On Your Hands” from my new project will join a lineup of new work by contemporary musical theatre composers around the country, including Anna Jacobs and Michael R. A song from a new musical I’ve been developing was performed by Emily Goldberg and McKinley Carter (music direction by Diana Lawrence) at an open house event at Chicago Dramatists on May 11th. We were so grateful to team up with the wickedly talented actors of Tuacahn Theatre to take part in their 2018 New Works Festival! I learned so much about the piece by watching these actors breathe new life into it, guided by director Jeffry Denman and music director Chris Babbage. Thank you, Tuacahn Theatre!!!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to put Painting Faye Salvez on its feet at Northwestern University. An incredible cast and creative team brought so much honesty and heart to the project, and it was truly an honor to watch them bring this story to life.
